JL Full Bellypan - 4 door 3.6L ALUMINUM

Have to say this is a really nice and was a pretty easy install. Only one simple hole to drill was a dream and adding the heavy Crossmembers over that factor bar is a blessing. Took 3.5 hours on the install and followed the instruction, the only down side item I had was I could not get a wrachet strap under the skid to help hold up the gas tank and since I followed the directions and the tank was pretty empty we were able to drop the gas skid while holding up,the tank and then adding the strap afterwards. Can’t wait to see how it handles on some tough trail out in Moab and on the Rubicon this fall.

Qucik story first. The team at ARTEC supported a charity for an amazing young lady in our area dealing with Cystic Fibrosis (See "Wheelin' with CF" online!). I was fortunate enough to attend and win an amazing gift certificate the ARTEC crewe provided. I couldn't wait to spend it on the Aluminium Bellypan for my JL. This this is a BEAST, is lightweight and was easy to install. I'm a typical guy, so I didn't read the directions very well. These parts fit together like a well-engineered puzzle. You'll want to listen when the directions instruct you to leave everything very loose before the final step of buttoning everything up. If you do, you'll be amazed at how tight and secure everything will end up when mounted to your JL. I had a minor issue where my exhaust rubbed the passenger side of the belly pan. Added a few heavy duty washers to the passenger side motor mount bolt and we were on our way. Admittedly, I was skeptical as to how aluminum would hold up vs. steel, but once you get your hands on this kit, you'll see that they didn't skimp on the quality and thickness of their metals. This is one of the best add-ons I've purchased, and the support ARTEC provides in our community only futher reinforces how happy I am to do business with them!

The install is easy and will go as it should IF you watch the video and do as it instructs. Looks great and I am headed to Hidden Falls this Saturday to test it out.

Put these on my JLUR just before EJS in Moab, Drove rig up from Las Vegas. As an added benefit I believe these made the jeep quieter at highway speeds. Love the increased gas tank ground clearance. Great not bolting on 200+ Lbs of additional weight you get with steel skids.

Top notch quality! Very well manufactured and looks amazing. Fits nice and tight up against the frame and does not reduce ground clearance. It has taken quite a few hard hits and scrapes and hasn’t deformed.

This armor really surprised me when it showed up. There is a ton of thought that goes into this skid system. It's super lightweight but extremely solid. Great tight fit and a smooth belly. Can't wait to get it on some rocks. My only "negative" is for the RockKrawler Long Arm, you will need to modify the skids in order to fit with the RK cross member. Overall, high recommendations if you want to protect the vitals of your JLU.

These skids fit perfect! We love the lightweight but strong, coverage is great, and everything with the install was awesome. Even switching the tank skid out was easy even with 1/2 tank!! I give Artec and A+ for these skids!

Look, I know the sticker shock is tough to swallow, but you won't regret it once you get these installed. Worth every penny.

I'm very impressed with the build quality. Installation was easy. I really like having full skid plates that add minimal weight while providing excellent protection on the trails. Installed they look really good!

Alright so there are cheaper skids, and i wheel with buddies who have other very good brands. I pulled the trigger on this one thinking it better be #[email protected] hot and its better than that. Everything fit so well and it was an easy install. Just leave EVERYTHING LOSE!!! Had one issue which was jeeps fault. They sub out there exhaust (plus probably everything else) which meant some JLs will have a slight clearance issue with the down pipe on the passenger side. Called customer service who helped me out. Through some heat at the pipe and used a C clamp to slightly oval the pipe. Clearance issue fixed. Took 10 mins. Took it out over the weekend and came down hard on some rocks. Barely put a scratch in it. Awesome product.

Great Product, easy to install. DO NOT TIGHTEN ANY BOLTS UNTIL THEY'RE ALL IN! Its a very tight, clean and exact fit. I did the install myself on the ground with a floor jack to help hold the tank plate up as I bolted it in.
